Project need

We would love support researching and reaching out to grassroots giving circles and small companies issuing grants. Jiamini is a volunteer-run organization, with two staff people working on the ground in Newala Tanzania. Our size and zero-overhead structure mean even small amounts of money can make a huge difference for our students and partner schools. There is no minimum requirement for this project - every small donation or grant helps. Thank you in advance! By helping Jiamini you'll contribute to fundamentally changing the lives of hundreds of incredible kids now and for years to come. Jiamini is a small organization that's had an outsized impact on the lives of our students.

We offer holistic support to vulnerable- but brilliant kids in Tanzania - providing scholarship funding, social support, medical care, food, and creating a custom path for each of our students to succeed in her own way. In many cases we can provide a student everything she needs for just $200 a year. This project will help us expand the reach of our programs, giving more students in need education, safety, and health.

Our work has a ripple effect, changing the lives of our students and their immediate families, and empowering them to become young leaders in their communities. We are volunteer-run by design so 100% of all donations go directly to our programs. Thank you for your consideration! We have foundational research in place and would equip a volunteer with all the ins and outs of Jiamini's operations. The volunteer would have unlimited access to our Program Manager and our Co-founders. There is no minimum requirement for this project - every small donation or grant helps. Any time you are able to provide would make a huge difference to us.
