Darren B. Easterling Center for Restorative Practices
Social media content strategy
We could really use some help with our social media platforms. We are looking for help maintaining our Facebook, Twitter and Instagram pages. Ideally, we are looking for help creating and posting content once or twice a week for a few months. This is a behavioral health and trauma recovery center for mothers and youth who have lost a loved one to gun violence or incarceration. For the last few years, the Center has made incredible progress including a partnership with Northwestern University to design and develop a program for mothers and several workshops. This organization has the potential to change lives by disrupting a cycle of violence and putting a stop to generational trauma. A strong social media presence/visibility will provide us with visibility and legitimacy to expand our reach in the communities we work in. We have an abundance of materials about the Center, articles published on the Center, interviews, as well as photos and videos that can be used to generate content. We have also been maintaining these platforms to the best of our ability for a few years, so there are already examples of messaging we are looking to replicate.
Our mission is to transform the individual behaviors we believe to be at the core of gun-violence by offering trauma-centered recovery services to women and children impacted by the loss of a loved one as a result of violent crime who was either a victim or an offender.
