Nonprofit Overview

The mission of HHLA is to show youth from the most troubled areas of Los Angeles that there are rewards from caring for horses and learning to ride them. The young people not only benefit directly from the activities themselves, but in the bigger picture of how they can relate these activities and new-found skills to their lives and apply them to their goals. Our goal at HHLA is to make this experience available to as many kids as we can fit into available weeks of summer.

Session Overview

The HHLA website was designed 20 years ago.
The founder loves it. It's cluttered and NOT user-friendly.
Challenge: redesign the website, but keep the spirit of the organization. Goal: Convince the founder to redesign the site. Need to come up with an example of how it will look and convince her to go forward.
