Session Overview

We need a pro bono lawyer to help us revise our bylaws in line with Texas state and federal legal standards. We don't actually need a whole hour for this but we may have other legal issues we need to consult on in the future. We can work around the volunteer's schedule.

Nonprofit Overview

"Spreading Hope by Growing Healthy Communities and Sustainable Ecosystems" We work with indigenous Batwa "pygmies" just outside of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in Uganda, which until 1991 was their forest homeland. Now they live in settlements at the edge of the park. For nearly 4 years, we have worked mainly within Kalehe Village, creating a more sustainable community, with clean water, improved livelihoods through our artisan coop, and education for children.
