Nonprofit Overview

Palomacy Pigeon & Dove Adoptions saves the lives of domestic (unreleasable) birds that are otherwise killed by helping San Francisco Bay Area shelters and finders (and beyond). We provide guidance, referrals, education, long-term foster care, avian vet treatment and adoption services. Palomacy is a volunteer-powered, donation-supported project of Community Initiatives. Thanks to the support of our volunteers, we have saved the lives of more than 800 birds since we began in 2007 and helped countless others, across the country and around the world. Please visit us at www.PigeonRescue.org and at www.Facebook.com/PigeonDiplomacy

Session Overview

Did you know that there are hundreds of beautiful, smart, gentle, easy to care for domestic (unreleasable) pigeons & doves urgently in need of homes? Probably not but every day we are helping to rescue these amazing birds & rehome them as beloved pets indoors with the family or outside in predator-proof aviaries. We are doing our best but we need to do better & we need help.
