Project Overview

We use Mailchimp as our newsletter software and have recently started using Bloomerang as our donor CRM, which integrates with Mailchimp. We want to more thoughtfully segment our audiences between donors, parents, students, alumni, volunteers, staff, etc., and need support doing that well. Right now, we have 3 audiences in Mailchimp.

Our data is all over the place and needs to be organized in Mailchimp so it can be better used. Messaging the right people is essential to our organization but hard to do. We message families of students who take our workshops, donors, volunteers, etc.

The right volunteer will definitely know Mailchimp and, ideally, Bloomerang and have a good head for managing audiences. Once complete, we'll be able to email the right people or text them!

At Uptown Stories, we believe that writing is an essential tool for self-expression, critical thinking, and academic success.

Based in upper Manhattan, we offer small-group writing workshops for children ages eight to fifteen, led by master teachers and professional authors. To ensure our workshops are accessible to all children, tuition is pay-what-you-can.
