We are looking for a volunteer who can assist us in crafting a marketing campaign for our soon-to-be-launched software.

The CATS2 Foundation is wrapping up end-stage development for our school safety software “OWL for Schools”. This cutting-edge technology helps mitigate harm during the first few minutes of an active shooter emergency. The foundation aims to get this software to U.S.-based K-12 schools for free within the next few months. Currently, the foundation is seeking help with developing an effective launch strategy in order to gain exposure and traction.

American children have experienced an unprecedented amount of death and injury due to gun violence. In the year 2023 alone, there were 340 school shootings recorded amongst k-12 schools. Staff and students across the US live in daily fear of becoming the next mass shooting victim, with feelings of helplessness and powerlessness running rampant. Many schools must go without any protective measures due to a lack of resources. For those who can afford security solutions, they are often disappointed to find that what’s out there is cost-prohibitive and confusing to navigate. Today’s schools are in crisis. That is why the CATS2 Foundation has decided to step up to the challenge. Our mission is to deter, mitigate, and minimize mass violence in schools through efficient and appropriate technologies, with a focus on primary and secondary schools. OWL for Schools is the first initiative undertaken by the foundation to combat the school shooting epidemic. Leveraging cutting-edge technology, this security software provides teachers and students with an added layer of protection against active shooters. They are given a tool that helps them go from helpless to helpful in an emergency situation. We believe that ensuring children are safe in their classrooms is of national importance.

As of right now, OWL for Schools software is in the end stage beta testing phase. We have been testing our prototype out with schools across the country. OWL has been met with enthusiasm by school personnel. Our goal is to have this technology out for schools within the next few months. We need help with getting our software exposure and traction.
