Sole Hope is in need of an instructional video to play a very important part in our Shoe Cutting Parties (www.solehope.org/shoeparty).

A Sole Hope Shoe Cutting Party is a hands-on, engaging event where participants come together with their old jeans to cut patterns for shoes that will be sent to Uganda and assembled by local artisans. These durable, closed-toe shoes are then distributed to children and adults in need, providing protection against jiggers and other foot-related diseases. At a Shoe Cutting Party, attendees trace shoe patterns onto denim fabric, cut them out, and prepare them for shipping to Uganda. The event serves as an opportunity to raise awareness about the jigger problem, educate participants about Sole Hope's mission, and encourage community involvement in the fight against this debilitating condition.

Shoe Cutting Parties can be hosted by individuals, schools, churches, businesses, or any group interested in supporting Sole Hope's cause. These events not only contribute to the production of life-changing shoes but also foster a sense of global citizenship and empathy among participants.
