I'RAISE Girls & Boys is seeking a volunteer to provide recruitment support for our Youthpreneur Summit Event happening on June 1st, 2024 at Atlanta, Georgia in Georgia State University.

This Taproot volunteer will help us recruit 14 qualified one-day event volunteers to support the Youthpreneur Summit Event. This Taproot project will be critical for ensuring timely volunteer recruitment to facilitate the smooth operation and launch of the event. We are committed to promoting diversity and inclusivity in the recruitment process, ensuring representation from various backgrounds and expertise.

Scope of Work:
-Review and refine job descriptions for Youthpreneur Summit Event Volunteers (if needed)
-Develop recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates, utilizing online platforms, professional networks, and outreach efforts.
-Create engaging recruitment materials, including job postings, flyers, and social media content, to promote volunteer opportunities.
-Conduct outreach to potential candidates, organizations, and professional networks to solicit interest and applications.
-Screen and shortlist applicants based on predefined criteria and qualifications.
-Coordinate interviews and selection processes in collaboration with program staff and stakeholders.
-Provide support in onboarding selected volunteers, including orientation
-Monitor and evaluate recruitment efforts, identifying opportunities for improvement and adjustment as needed.

I'RAISE Girls & Boys is seeking a professional volunteer to provide recruitment support for our Youthpreneur Summit Event. We are excited about our first-time in-person Entrepreneurship Event! This event is for youth aged 8-19, aimed at providing hands-on learning experiences in business development, marketing, financial management, and communication skills. We are currently seeking to recruit 14 in-person one-day volunteers. And, we need your professional support.

I'RAISE has recruitment materials ready - i.e., volunteer position descriptions, recruitment platforms, details on the Youthpreneur Summit Event, Marketing team's support, recruitment strategy, etc. You will be working closely with our Deputy Director, Sidra Soomro and Executive Assistant to CEO, Chaslyn Piper.

Once the project is complete, we will initiate outreach efforts to promote volunteer opportunities and attract qualified candidates. This will involve posting job listings on relevant online platforms, sharing recruitment materials across our social media channels, and reaching out to professional networks and organizations aligned with our mission.
