Project need

We are relaunching our mobile app to help low-income entrepreneurs build their business plans, access microloans and remotely talk with a business advisor.

We're looking at using a cross-platform technology (like React Native) or progressive web app. Help us reach even greater impact by joining us in developing the next version of our mobile app. The current version of the app is essentially a prototype that evolved into a functional app that walks entrepreneurs through the process of building their first business plans.

This next version, has some exciting changes:
- A brand new UI which takes into account feedback from entrepreneurs, microlenders, and advisors,
- Built on a new cross-platform technology that will allow our resource-strapped nonprofit to more efficiently by having 85+% of our code shared between the iOS and Android versions of our app,
- New section to help entrepreneurs find (non-predatory) microloan options in their area that are appropriate for their needs,
- The ability to remotely chat with a business coach. This is an ongoing project and we'd love to have support at any point.
